Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia

Premier Homes Loans SA is a full member of the MFAA (Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia).

The MFAA is a regulatory body whose stated mission is to ensure the orderly and ethical working of the mortgage and finance industry in Australia.
It does this by ensuring MFAA members are recognised as a trusted source of finance, by providing education for its members and staff and by embracing best practice customer services. It seeks to be the recognised authority in Australia on all aspects of the mortgage and finance industry.

The association has also been known as the Mortgage Industry Association of Australia (MIAA), the Mortgage Industry Association of Australasia and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

In order to maintain membership of this association, brokers and financial institutions must comply with the standards and benchmarks that are set down in its constitution. Where these standards are not met, the MFAA has the power to expel and suspend members. Members who have been expelled or suspended are listed on the MFAA website.

  • To respond to you within five working days to provide you with a likely timescale to resolve your issue
  • To keep you up-to-date on progress made 

COSL

Premier Home Loans SA and each of its Accredited Mortgage Consultants are members of the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL). The Credit Ombudsman Service provides its members and customers with an alternative method for resolving their disputes efficiently and is independent of the legal system. COSL is an ASIC approved external dispute resolution service. If after following the processes outlined in the complaints procedure above, your issues remain unresolved, using COSL as an alternative mediation or dispute resolution service is an option available to you.
